Serie A giants AC Milan have allegedly joined the race to sign Brentford attacker Said Benrahma.
The 25-year-old forward was part of a formidable front three alongside Bryan Mbeumo and Ollie Watkins during the 2019-20 campaign, and he amassed 17 goals and nine assists for his side in the regular Championship season.
However, Said’s failure to achieve promotion to the Premier League could possibly lead to SAid seeking pastures new ahead of the new season.
The Blues have been tipped to move for the player in recent weeks, but according to DZFoot journalist Walid Ziani, I Rossoneri are now looking to seal a deal for Benrahma.
The report claims that they are stepping up their efforts to land a new winger this summer, and Benrahma could be tempted to make the move to San Siro in order to join up with fellow countryman Ismael Bennacer.

Benrahma’s current contract at Brentford will expire in the summer of 2022, and the Bees have reportedly slapped a €28 million (£25.2m) price tag on the winger’s head.
Meantime, Chelsea will allegedly have to fend off interest from Barcelona to secure the services of Ajax left-back Nicolas Tagliafico.
With Emerson Palmieri and Marcos Alonso both facing uncertain futures at Chelsea, the Blues have been tipped to sign a new left-back during the summer transfer window.
Leicester City defender Ben Chilwell is said to be Frank Lampard’s primary target, while the Blues are also rumoured to be keeping tabs on the future of Real Madrid loanee Sergio Reguilon.
Tagliafico has been mentioned with a switch to the blue side of London in the past, and according to Sky Sports News, the Blues are firmly interested in the Ajax defender.
