The latest transfer rumours and gossip coming from the Emirates Stadium.
Mikel Arteta is gearing up for a big summer at Arsenal as he looks to bolster his squad for the new season.
With less than a month before the Premier League returns to action, the Gunners boss will be eyeing up some much-needed reinforcements.
Of course, he might be helped by a new contract for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, whose presence will no doubt help convince some players to make the move to north London.
Here are the latest transfer rumours and gossip coming from the Emirates Stadium.
Juve eye up Lacazette
Juventus are reportedly interested in Arsenal’s Alexandre Lacazette as they search for a new striker.
According to Sky Sports, the Serie A champions of drawn up a list of frontmen they’ll consider this summer, including Lacazette and Wolves striker Raul Jimenez.
Also on the list are Atalanta’s Duvan Zapata, Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata, Napoli’s Arkadiusz Milik and Roma’s Edin Dzeko.
Current Juve striker Gonzalo Higuain is expected to leave, while Paulo Dybala has been linked with Manchester United and Tottenham.
Partey alternative lined up
Porto’s Danilo Pereira is being lined up as an alternative should Arsenal be unable to land Thomas Partey.
With Atletico holding firm on their asking price of £45million for the Ghanian, the Gunners could well be priced out of a move.
If that’s the case, then according to the Evening Standard, Pereira would be their next option.
Partey has also been warned off making the move to north London, with Ghana head coach Charles Akonnor urging him to stay in Spain.
Bees look at Balogun alternatives
Brentford are looking at alternatives as Arsenal stand firm on their asking price for Folarin Balogun.
The 19-year-old has been linked with a move to the Bees this summer, although having failed to gain promotion to the Premier League, they may not be able to cough up the £8million the Gunners are demanding.
Reports are now suggesting they’ve turned their attentions to Iran international Saman Ghoddos as an alternative.
Ghoddos plies his trade in France with Amiens, but is likely to become available this summer following the club’s relegation from Ligue 1.
